Massage – Schools

Students can learn a skill for life!!

Massage is good for school students.  Massage stimulates the muscles, brain, nerves and internal organs, enabling the body to better release tensions and toxins from the system.  Regular massage is most beneficial in creating a sense of relaxation and nourishing a feeling of well-being.

Massage Therapy & Postural Advice Sessions

The nature of this massage enables a very versatile treatment that can focus on the upper body.  Participants will be fully clothed and will both give, and receive, respectful massage practice, together with learning about basic human anatomy, postural analysis and massage techniques.

Headaches, repetitive strain injury, a stiff neck and tension in the lower and upper back are ailments common to all.  Computer usage, growing bones, examination stress, the school environment, ergonomic designs and poor posture are all contributors to these common health problems. 

These sessions will illustrate the beneficial ways in which massage can proactively combat these ailments, relieve stress, dissolve muscle tension and improve circulation. 

Participants should wear light, comfortable clothing and bring a towel.
